吳子昆繼東京參與《虛 • 空》交流展覽後，再次帶來其獨特的體驗式裝置作品，觀眾將乘坐自動電影院座椅於展場中遊走、穿梭於影像之間，展開一個人的影像旅程。與展覽同名的作品《末境之路》是吳子昆《Solitary Cinema》系列的最新版本，該系列作品從 2018 年起分別於香港及日本展出。自行座椅是系列中最重要的元素，觀眾坐在自動駕駛裝置上隨著軌道前行，在螢幕與螢幕之間來回遊走，眼前的影像隨著座椅位置而產生變化。不同於平常展覽由觀眾自主選擇觀賞每件作品的次序，在自動駕駛裝置上，觀眾被指定了每站的觀賞角度、距離、時間等等，被限制著自由的觀眾，能否從這旅程中重新感受電影無窮的可能性呢？
